Went to for breakfast the morning after daylight savings and they were BUSY. We luckily got a spot at the bar seating and were attended to immediately. The food took a little because of how busy it was but they kept our coffee cups full and were apologetic about it. We both got an omelette that came with home fries and toast.. both were so filling and delicious. Would definitely come again..

Service is excellent, food is excellent and price is great!! The diner is a small diner very close to interstate 95. I look forward to stopping there when I travel home from Massachusetts. Easy off, easy on the interstate.

I've been here one other time, but it's been a while. I went here in December of 2022 and have been wanting to go back since. So today, me and my brother made the trip to go to Middle Of Nowhere Diner and it sure was worth the wait of almost 2 years! It just incredible. Just as good as I remember!! It's an adorable, old and charming diner in, you guessed it, literally in the middle of nowhere! It 100% is the definition of a hidden gem. We were there today around 10:30ish and even then it was still fairly busy given it was a Thursday at 10:30am. Nonetheless though, we walked in and were greeted within 1 minute and then were able to choose whatever table we liked (that was clean and set). Then when we were sat we were basically immediately greeted by our waitress and asked if we wanted anything to drink. So I got a hot coffee and a water. One weird thing though was that the water, and my brothers iced coffee came in plastic cups... that's the only thing that was "weird" about the place. Besides that though, the food was incredible!! What did I get? Well, I got a bacon, sausage, potato and cheese omelet with well-done home fries and a grilled English muffin. I wasn't sure what to expect regarding having potatoes in my omelet, but it was literally just home fries in the omelet, lol. Me and my brother also got pumpkin pancakes with cinnamon butter (a stack of three pancakes) which were phenomenal. They had such a nice pumpkin fragrance and flavor and they were sweet and fluffy too. My brother got a corn hash omelet with cheddar cheese with well-done home fries and a grilled English muffin along with a cup of oatmeal. I tried the oatmeal, and it was delish! I also tried his omelet which was also really really delicious too! The prices are very reasonable here too. Especially for the portion sizes which are very generous. The total without tip at 53.92. So we got a lot of food for the two of us for not that expensive. Overall, the experience of The Middle of Nowhere Diner was amazing and I will for sure be back. I highly highly recommend you checkout this hidden Rhode Island Gem!

Do you love diners? Do you love a great breakfast? Do you like to pay more money than you need to to have that great breakfast? How about service? Do you like friendly, nice people who really work hard to make sure you have everything you need and that you're happy? If you're answering the way I expect, this is definitely the place for you. However it IS one of those places that you kind of want to gatekeep because it's already obscenely popular and hard to get in at breakfast time, especially on the weekends, just from the locals. But I'm here to help... This place is literally in the middle of pretty much nowhere on Rte 3. But the breakfast options are many, the food is fantastic, the service is super nice and friendly, and the prices are from 1985 I think... It's like stepping back in a time zone both from the atmosphere and your pocketbook. Absolutely nothing pretentious about this place. It's full of locals. But it's also full of great smells, great tastes, great service, and outrageous values. Literally anything on the breakfast menu is worth having, cooked to order and delicious. The nice thing is you could get everything on the menu and still pay less than you would at a lot of places. They do everything right. This is a professional breakfast organization here. If you get lucky and hit it right you'll get a table reasonably soon. But there are other times when you're not even going to get in the parking lot. It is what it is. If you're anywhere nearby it's definitely worth trying and seeing for yourself. My favorite breakfasts in RI are this place and T's in East Greenwich. The locations, the ambiance, the food types, and the prices could not be more different than they are, but they are both spectacular in their own ways. Don't miss either one. Blue collar breakfast done right by great people. You truly can't go wrong here.

Great diner to stop at! I got a breakfast special- stuffed French toast. It was so delicious and they don't skimp on portion size. It's a good hometown diner and the staff were all very kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Another great meal at Middle of Nowhere Diner. Keeping it simple, I had a turkey club sandwich with fries, and my husband had a huge salad with tuna on top. I did take home a quarter of my club. We were a little later to eat tonight, and we were able to get right in. Kayla B was our server, and she was efficient and friendly. This is a great place for a simple, delicious meal. Just remember.... No breakfast on Friday nights!!

Great little country diner in... the middle of nowhere!! Had a great omelette with fantastic home fries. My wife enjoyed her breakfast sandwich as well. They open early which is perfect for a quick breakfast whilst on my way to the Mystic Aquarium from Providence. It's just off the highway which makes this place very convenient.

I love me a good diner so who says I can't give a diner 5 stars ? First let's talk about service. Coming from Miami, I can't remember when I have enjoyed warmer service and hospitality- I almost started to believe it was a lost art like phone calls. Andy whose last name I didn't catch is the security guard who recommended we have breakfast here and I am so thankful he did. I had a steaming cup of coffee with the Irish benny which was served over corned beef hash with home fries, served freshly cooked, I could not ask for creamier eggs.. just what I needed for this cold rainy morning. My man had the yankee pot roast with spinach and gravy mashed potatoes - tender and flaky. Also had a steaming cup of clam chowder- our first on this trip - delish The portions were huge so I actually asked for a to go box because I definitely wanted to try some dessert. I had the strawberry short cake which I as recommended by our server - I'm not much of a strawberry gal but I have to say she was right. My man had the Boston cream pie - both had a whopping amount of whipped cream and we ate to our hearts content. Cannot wait to be back in the area to try other dishes like the cod, meatloaf and sandwiches I saw on neighboring tables. What a find !

I have been here, before, for breakfast, which is spectacular. But, first time here for lunch! I highly recommend the Middle of Nowhere Cheese urged with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, onions, (I had red peppers), lettuce, tomatoes, French fries, Cole slaw and pickles! Yum!!!!
